ScanDrop works with all Canon scanners that support the Twain interface, including the popular ImageFORMULA scanners. Other than installing and configuring the software that came with your scanner, you don't need to perform any additional steps to make ScanDrop work with your Canon scanner.
ScanDrop supports the following Canon ImageFORMULA scanners. Click here for a list of older Canon ImageFormula, CanoScan, DR, LiDE, IR, and MP Scanners also supported by ScanDrop. If your scanner is not included here but supports the Twain interface, ScanDrop most likely will work with your scanner.
Before you get started, ensure that the software that came with your Canon ImageFORMULA Scanner is installed and you are able to scan documents with it. To verify that your scanner is working, insert few paper documents into your scanner tray and press the scan button. If the documents are scanned then your scanner is working. If not, please refer to scanner documentation to ensure that you followed all steps when installing the software and that the scanner is connected to your computer.
Ensure that ScanDrop is started. If it prompted you to login, do so. Then, click the Settings button as shown in below to display the settings screen.
If your scanner has been installed and is working, it will be displayed in the Default scanner list. Select the scanner from this list. If you need to make any other changes to the configuration, please do so and click Apply.
Your Canon scanner is now configured to work with ScanDrop. Place documents to be scanned in the scanner and press the Scan button in ScanDrop to start scanning.
