OfficeDrop and click.to Partner to Make Document Storage Simpler
Move Documents to the Cloud in a Single Keystroke
CAMBRIDGE, MA — (December 15, 2011), OfficeDrop announced a new way to move documents to its cloud filing cabinet quickly, using click.to. Click.to extends the common function of pressing CTRL+C on a PC or ⌘+C on a Mac to quickly copy and paste without toggling between application screens. With the click.to app installed, the keystroke instantly shares highlighted material – including documents, videos, text and more – with other apps, like Google, Twitter, and now, OfficeDrop.
Here’s how it works: Select any file and press CTRL+C (⌘+C on a Mac). The OfficeDrop logo will pop up; simply select it and the file is stored directly in the cloud. Users don’t have to fumble with multiple open windows, dragging and dropping, or leaving their current screen. See it in action here.
Because OfficeDrop’s users store important business documents in their accounts, click.to has added a key function that is unique to OfficeDrop. Once a user chooses to send a file to their OfficeDrop account with click.to, the app prompts the user to select the specific OfficeDrop folder that document will be stored in. This is highly important for OfficeDrop users who operate in teams and who send and receive documents for collaboration.
OfficeDrop makes it easy for small businesses to scan paper to the cloud and access documents from anywhere, at any time, from any device. OfficeDrop’s cloud filing cabinet lets users sort, search and share documents — giving paper new life and making it collaborative! Headquartered in Cambridge, MA, OfficeDrop was founded in 2007. Paper. Digital. Anywhere. Find out more at www.officedrop.com.
