Tell us about how you use OfficeDrop. Get one month free!

Tell us As mentioned in a recent blog, it has been 1 year since we launched our private beta. We have a successful product today because we listen to our users and feed that back into the product. In this spirit, we would like 5 minutes of your precious time to tell us about how OfficeDrop adds value to you. This will help us align our initiatives for the coming year with your requirements. To thank you for your time, 15 respondents will be selected at random and each will be given 1 month free OfficeDrop service (upto $59.95 value depending on your plan). The winners will be announced on April 15th.

Feature Spotlight

OfficeDrop Search In this first part of a new column, we will look at OfficeDrop's core features in detail. We begin with Search, the killer-feature that sets OfficeDrop apart. Currently, OfficeDrop supports keyword search, label search and name search. Anytime you search for a term in the OfficeDrop Search bar, the results are displayed in three tabs.

  • Keyword Tab: This tab shows all occurrences of that term in the document's contents are displayed in this tab. Yes, the actual contents of the document. This will be your favorite tab, if you are not into organizing documents into labels.
  • Label Tab: This tab shows documents whose labels match the search term. Partial matches are also displayed. This tab is your friend, if you want to have things your way and apply labels to documents.
  • Name Tab: This tab shows documents whose name matches the search term. Partial matches are also displayed. This tab helps you continue the context from your file system, for uploaded and emailed documents.

So, which is your favorite search tab? (All of them is a valid answer).
