Document Scanning Prices

What Determines Document Scanning Prices?

Document scanning prices depend on a number of variables. For standard sheets, document scanning is priced either by page, or via monthly subscription. In the case with OfficeDrop, you can either pay for our bulk scanning service for large volumes (pay per image) or you can send smaller volumes at a monthly subscription fee. Though we try to keep pricing as straightforward as possible, there are a few factors that may increase (or decrease) your document scanning prices.

Factors Affecting Document Scanning Prices

Number of Images

Depending on the service, image number can either increase or decrease your bill. If you are signed up for monthly subscription, you are allotted a number of envelopes that hold 50 pages each. If you send an envelope containing more than 50 pages, we charge an extra 25cents per image.

However, if you are interested in bulk scanning, a higher number of pages actually decreases your price per image. The minimum is 1,500 images per project, and there are discounts for customers at certain volume points. We offer bulk scanning for our subscription customers (customers of OfficeDrop Online) starting at 1,000 images. See our document scanning page for more information.

Document Binding

If your documents are bound, that may mean that we need to cut the binding in order to scan the pages. If this is the case, there will be a service fee for removing the binding.

Oversized Documents

If documents are larger than will fit in standard autofeed scanners, they require flatbed scanning. If flatbed scanning is required, an added service fee is charged.

DVD and Hard Drive Storage

OfficeDrop gives you the option of storing your scanned documents on either DVDs or an external hard drive. If you request this service, the is added cost but we only charge you the price of the DVD or external drive.
